Finally

Nima, Nino, and I are at a hotel. In less than 2 hours, I will be off to the airport. I should be more nervous, but I am so excited to finally get there!!
I will be laying over in Atlanta for 8 hours tomarrow, then an 8 hour flight to Madrid. Wish Nima luck on that one. It is his longest yet.
He is in the cabin with me. Whew!!
Type to you from the other side of the pond.
~~~BYE~~~
Orange County Freebies
For the friends left at home, I would like to leave this parting gift:
I personally recommend the Bower's Museum. It s great!! But not there is usually a fee to get in. Hmmm.
(Maybe you can get in there the way Nessa used to go to Disneyland for free- all shady-like.)
My Own LOL Cat
After posting some LOL (or ICanHasCheeseburger) Cats, I decided to make a couple of my own staring Lancelot:
But I have this one picture that is so priceless! But I cannot find a good caption for it.
Please help! Cara?
It is so easy to make your own HERE.
Last weekend in America
Today I took Enigma to the vet for his health certificate. I really hope this goes smoother than Moo's journey.
She said that she heard a heart murmer that she did not hear when she gave him the other health certificate to go back to CA late November.
That worries me, as it came kind of fast. The doctor before said he had an enlarged heart and wanted to medicate him for it, but I wanted to wait to get a second oppinion in Spain, as this Dr was not the most trustworthy.
Tomarrow, Mom,Grandma,Cole,Nino,Nessa,andI are going to Colorado Springs to have lunch at PF Chang's. I hear many good things about it, but I have never been there before. Then we will do a lil shopping.
Sunday, should be all about packing and deciding what I will have to mail to Spain.
Yay- almost there!
It is for real
I have an itinerary!
I fly out Wednesday at 6:30 morning. I arrive in Madrid at 9:15 on Thursday morning. John will meet there to help me get Enigma through customs.
He said getting the cat through was pretty difficult and he speaks Spanish!!
Then we fly to Jerez together, which is what is closest to us in Rota.
I do not know how I am going to get all my stuff to Spain. I have (seriously cute) luggage, but with the weight limit, I do not know how much I can take. I am sure I cannot take it all. I might have to have Mom send some stuff after I leave.
You know I have not been here all this time and not bought anything!
The furniture is all there but in storage. We want to paint before we put it all in. I will not live with white walls again- not this time!!
So I will have the house and the class they suggest you take that gives you the ins and out of living on the base there to keep me busy while we save up a lil for the language school. I will probably only go for 2 weeks. Kinda pricey.
Then it is job and school and plan our adventures!
Yay!
Lancelot in Spain
What Moo Cat has been up to in Spain without me:
Photobucket
(No it is not really him.
But it sure looks like him!!!!)
Help~
Nino and I want to see a movie in the next couple days.
But nothing is grabbing us.
Any ideas?
Lately we have just been watching The Riches. I bought the first season.
So bored.
Where is my plane ticket, John?
Anyway, I took off the one of Lancelot, and put a new one in the side bar,
Tell me what you think.
Emily Pictures
Clayton First Touches Emily
Steffy's sister, Tabitha, took these. I am so sad I am camara-less!
Click HERE for new pictures!
The people in the pics are Steffy's sister, her mom-Trish, and her Grandma.
All visiting from CA.
Although I have taken over Steffy and Clay's camera tonight. I was going through snapshot withdrawls!
Tonight, Clayton made eggrolls, Nino made springrolls, and Mom made fried rice. So Nino did a FoodTV style tutorail on making a springroll.
To be uploaded...
...and if you hear a funny voice...
That is Lancelot. I made a Voki for his Catster page, but it was so cute, I put it here too. Like his voice? That is what he meows like now!!
It is at the very bottom of the page.
You can replay it.
He says roughly, "Hi friends. Catster is fantistic.
I love Lilly Rose and Harry potter. Prrrrr. Prrrrr. Bye"
I only wish it looked more like him.
Happy Heart Day Everyone!
An end in sight.
I talked to John today and he said I should fly out
Feb. 26.
I wish it were sooner, but he said that was the recommended day
since I have the dog's paperwork to get together,
and John has to have time off
to meet me at customs.
Still inching my way to Spain....
Baby Update!
Cole has 2 molars coming in. One on each side. He is in a looooovely mood. And his nose and eyes are always running. I told Nessa, that she should get used to it. They do that until they are about 5 years-old anyway, right?
Emily has been out with Steffy's family lately. But she has changed so much already! Her lips got bigger and her eyes more defined. She looks so much like Clayton. But in pink!
Steffy's sister has taken a bunch of pictures, but I have to get them from her.
My camera is still not working. I may have to send it back to the company, because I lost the receipt and charger it came with. Ugh!
Storybooks
Shutterfly (where my photos are now) has this fun feature. You can turn your photos into a "storybook." They are so fun to make, and the end result looks like a book (rather than photobook) with hard cover and paper pages.
The colors and layouts are fun to play with.
I have been making a bunch of them online, but I have only printed out 2 of them. They run about $30 a book!
However, I put some of them on a gallary where people can leave comments and rate them.
So if you have not wasted your whole Wednesday yet, click HERE to see them!
Joke
Late one night, a Kings fan and a Ducks fan collide head on while driving accross a bridge. Fortunately, both are un hurt, but their cars are pretty banged up.
"This is a sign," says the Kings fan, "that we should put away our differences and live as friends instead of rivals."
"You're right," says the Ducks fan. He pops open the trunk and takes out a bottle of bourbon. "Let's toast to our newfound friendship."
The Kings fan takes a big swig and hands back the bottle. "Your turn."
"Nah," says the Ducks fan, tossing the bottle into the river. "I think I'll just wait for the police to show up."
Tonight we play the Colorado Avalanche.
Update on Move
Guess what?!?
I fanally got my pass port today! I sent it to John (email), so I should find out soon when I leave!
YAY!
Induldge Me
The Anaheim Ducks had lost 3 out of 3 of their last games before a certain
came back to play rather than retire.
Since he has come back we have won 4 out of 4 games!
To be fair I must mention that we played the Detroit Red Wings ( a Stanley Cup Favorite and Ducks rival) TWICE.
Oh, and we happened to WIN twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahahahaha.
You know, I think it is about time Hockey got its dues, and the 1 thing Bush did right was honor the 2007 Stanley Cup Winner, the Anaheim Ducks!
I sniff another cup in out future...
Sunday Seven
I found a language school in Cadiz!
I am so excited about this. I cannot wait to start. So this Sunday, I want to share with you
Sunday Seven Facts About K2 Internacional de Espanol
1.) You choose your class size. There are classes up to 8 or you can have complete 1 on 1 teaching. I am not sure we could afford that one.
2.) I will be going during the "low season" (not summer), so the price is lower.
3.) The class I will probably take is the Superintensive Class. It has a small class 5 days a week, but once a week, you get 1 on 1 teaching. The lessons go faster as well.
4.) The price per week for that class 210 Euro. (Guess it is time I learned where the Euro sign is on my keyboard, huh?)
5.) You meet other people in the class to take tours and practice with.
6.) They also have classes that are Spanish+Flamenco lessons, Spanish+Surfing Lessons, and Spanish+Cooking lessons!!
7.) The site is HERE.
Tomarrow
Nino and I hope to visit the Holy Cross Abbey again. Weather permitting, we would love to do some sketches of the place.
Nino has also started glass etching and metal wire sculpting. Both are harder than they sound.
Anything to keep me away from the Poppy Seed (PLEASE CHECK IT OUT HERE, a new store down town. They have the cutest hippie clothes you have ever seen. You would not believe some of things I have bought! Won't John be surprised!
